Sobre a exposição escreve a artista:

"Retratos, auto-retratos, auto-ficções. Um corpo no mundo, referente de autoinspeção íntima. Reflexos e ecrãs devolvem-me a minha imagem: fragmentada, estilhaçada, cubista. Do arquivo pessoal ao apropriado, nenhum dos dois mente a experiência vivida para a qual se busca expressão. Este referente é apenas pretexto ao desejo ávido de penetrar o tecido da imagem e, aí, descobrir em estado gestacional as suas cores, ritmos e texturas. A dança dos sentidos, o corpo pulsante.

Depois de pintar, olho para a vida com um olhar mais esfomeado, insaciável. Quero ver algo de forma ainda não pré-formatada. A figuração faz-me regressar ao mundo de uma forma direta, atenta, envolvida, inquisidora e deslumbrada. Com um olhar verde e renovado."

EN synopsis:

​

"Portraits, self-portraits, self-fictions. A body in the world, referent of intimate self-inspection. Reflections and screens give me back my image: fragmented, shattered, cubist. From the personal archive to the appropriate, neither lies the lived experience for which expression is sought. This referent is only a pretext to the avid desire to penetrate the fabric of the image and, there, to discover in a gestational state its colors, rhythms, and textures. The dance of the senses, the pulsating body.

After painting, I look at life with a more hungry, insatiable gaze. I want to see something in a form not yet pre-formatted. Figuration brings me back to the world in a direct, attentive, involved, inquisitive and dazzled way. With a green, renewed gaze."
